Another thread hoping to stir up some conversation, here, you just talk about video games - any kind you want from PC to console to handheld.
Personally, I've been playing the Nintendo DS quite a lot; what a fun little system that is, and it's quickly become one of my favorite video game systems. However, I don't play that many PC games anymore; on occasion, I play Unreal Tournament 2004 or The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

I like Prince of Persia Trilogy! And I'm looking forward to the movie! But I don't play often. I also like games like Broken Sword (in Germany: Baphomets Fluch). _________________

I love Xbox 360 and PC games. On the 360 I play a lot of Condemned: Criminal Origins, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and occasionally some Halo. For the PC, I like F.E.A.R, Halo, Age of Empires (II and III), Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and some Prey.
I'm not very interested in the 360, personally, although I do have an original Xbox and quite a few games for it (60+). I much prefer Elder Scrolls games on the PC, however, although I own a copy of Morrowind on both my PC and my Xbox..
My favorite video game system, though, is the Sega Saturn. Much like Stefan's music, it's very unloved.
I love the Xbox and 360...I can't stand Playstations. As far as older generation systems, I think my favorite was the N64.
I'm not a big fan of the Playstation, either. There are some excellent games on the PS1, but that's mostly because of the situation - that is to say, the Saturn was regarded as hard to develop for and the N64 had some space limitations, so it received a lot of great games. The PS2, however, has mostly been a bunch of uninspired sequels, spin offs and rip offs, with the occasional gem here and there (Shadow Of the Colossus).
I grew up with video games, so I prefer older generation things - NES, SNES, Genesis, Saturn, etc., all the way up to the Dreamcast. Today's gaming just doesn't feel the same and has less appeal to me. For example, I own a lot of Xbox games, but very few of them are amazing, in my opinion; I own a bit less Sega Saturn games than I do Xbox games, but far more of my Saturn games are jaw dropping. It feels like we're just treading the same roads these days - and that's why I like the Nintendo DS. What an excellent device; innovative, and a whole new way to play games, while giving a respectful nod to many classic elements that I enjoyed while growing up.

But aren't there too much games for kids on this device? I know GBA, at this time it was a cool portable game device but the most games cracked! Every time I look on NDS' gameslist, I didn't find cool games on it. _________________

That's a common misconception with the NDS, albeit an understandable one. The problem is that everyone seems to have a different idea of what's for kids. Some people feel that anything without a lot of violence and gore is for kids, while others feel that anything with an E rating is for kids, etc. (E is a rating in the United States done by the ESRB to mark that a game is for Everyone - I know Europe / Japan tend to use different systems).
In truth, the Nintendo DS is trying to appeal to everyone of all ages, by doing very little discrimination in the games. However, there are some games which have an E rating (that is, everyone can play it), that are just more enjoyable for teenagers and adults.
A brief list of games I feel are good for adults (but may or may not also appeal to kids):
Star Fox Command
Metroid Prime Hunters
Mega Man ZX
Tao's Adventure: Curse Of the Demon Seal
Bleach DS: Souten ni Kakeru Unmei
Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Age Of Empires: The Age Of Kings
Battles Of Prince Of Persia
Blades Of Thunder II
Break 'Em All
Bouken-ou Beet: Vandel vs. Busters
Castlevania: Dawn Of Sorrow
Children Of Mana
Deep Labyrinth
Iron Feather
Resident Evil: Deadly Silence
So on and so forth. The system has a lot of games that can be enjoyed by adults / are not marketed towards kids / have a kid-like look but gameplay enjoyable by adults.
I have a lot of DS games and love them all, and while some may also be played by kids, very few of them can be fully enjoyed by kids.

What do you think about the PSP ? I sold my device 4 weeks ago. It's a pretty good handeld console but good games are very rare on it. Prince of Persia: Revelation was cool, but I already played it on PC as Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. _________________

I think the PSP is an unfortunate piece of machinery, for a number of reasons.
While the power of the device is impressive, it's caused a LOT of shovelware and ports onto the device (which is common for any system, of course, but it's far more common on the PSP) - a lot of rehashed Playstation 1 games, and dumbed down versions of PS2 games, etc. Thus, there are very few good games on it, and a lot of the games which interested me, personally, are ports of Playstation / Playstation 2 games (Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, Generations Of Chaos, etc.) - that's slightly disappointing.
Second, the cost is just absurd, and Sony lies to you about everything. They sell the unit for $200 to $250 USD, and neglect to tell you about the additional cost of memory cards and other things you need in order to get full use out of your PSP (that can run between $50 to $100 USD extra), and then the games are $40 to $50 USD, which is about the cost of a console game here in America - which is absolutely ridiculous.
Third, because of the aforementioned power, I think a lot of developers decide it'll just be easier and cheaper to port games than to pay the absurd costs it takes (or they claim it takes) to develop console games these days.
On top of that, the UMD Movies were a bad idea, and have thus been doing poorly in the US - they typically cost(ed) $10 USD more than standard DVDs and offered none of the special features of a DVD. A number of movie studios here are ceasing support for them, and some retailers have dropped them from the shelves.
There are a lot of reasons why I think the PSP isn't very good. Personally, I believe it COULD have been a great device, but they went about it the wrong way entirely. They're not marketing it the right way, they're not getting the right support, and so on. It's been good competition for the Nintendo DS, which in turn has made the DS game line-up REALLY good, but it seems to have little lasting appeal because Sony chose to stretch themselves thin on it. You're a perfect example - you sold your PSP because there were not many good games, and the game you did like was a port. It's a shame, because the PSP has / had a lot of potential. There's still time to turn things around for it, I suppose, but they need to make some big changes. We'll just have to see how things go, but as it currently stands, they can't sell me on a PSP.
And additionally, there's no way in HELL they're going to sell me on a PS3.

Of course, the price of a PSP is cheek! But the quality which is possible is quite good! Sadly, the most games are boring or ported down as you said. So I don't have seen a game what's improve its possibility.
Movies on UMD are realy a bad idea. Why should I watch movies on a small display while I'm walking anywhere? The price is incredible for this low quality.
I hope you understand what I mean with my terrible school english. _________________
When it comes to video games I have a real they don't make them like they used to attitude. I really loved the old SNES games, especially the Square games (FFII, FFIII, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger etc...). The port of Street Fighter II was really nice on the SNES also, as well as Samurai Showdown and Fatal Fury. Castlevania IV was an amazing game for this system also.
I also enjoyed the TG16, I was one of the few people who had this thing, Ys Books 1&2 were incredible. The play control was sort of strange but after getting used to that the storyline, and the amazing music really engaged me. The following sequels were great also, they ceased releasing the series here in the states after IV which is unfortunate because the games following look great - especially number six which was released on the P.C. The Valis series of games for this system were great to, they ported this series to the Genesis up to number three I believe.
After the SNES faded I got into FPS', starting with Quake I and just recently stopped with F.E.A.R. My fiancee, work and other real life things have taken away all my time for games I'm afraid.
I received a PS1 and FFVII for my fourteenth birthday. I really liked FFVII, it's the last game in the series that I played. I only had the PS1 for a short time, I played the Final Fantasy game and then Brave Fencer Musashi. I ended up giving it to one of my cousins so I could play Quake II more.
I also recently tried World of Warcraft because I have friends that play, it bored the living piss out of me. It also takes too damn long to do anything, I don't have that sort of time.
I completely agree with the sentiment that video gaming is not as good as it use to be. This is why I play a lot of portable systems, as the technology there is still forced to be like that of the SNES days, up through the Playstation (although, with the PSP, it's getting more like the PS2, unfortunately). Although, the games still aren't how they use to. It's just similar in feel.
MMORPGs like World Of Warcraft bore the hell out of me, too, though..
