I listen right now to the 2 new Pulse tracks. They sounds pretty good. I like "You believe" very much! I know "Khundas" as a Shiva Song, I think we get a really good successor for "Exile"! _________________ |

Indeed, I first knew "Khundas" as a Shiva In Exile song when Stefan had me send it to someone in California for a sampler or something. I had no idea that it was going to become "Khundas" on Spi-Ritual, but it's a great song, no less.
I also quite like "You Believe". Another great song, and the two of those combined help to put Pulse up to the status of Full Length rather than EP. Come on folks, let's get some more discussion going on here. |

| I like Khundas, but it has more of Shiva feel than a SpiRitual feel. That's ok though, because the song is still great. You Believe is definitely awesome though. I've been obsessed with that song all day. |

That's because Khundas was written as a Shiva In Exile song.
As I understand, in order for the label to release Spi-Ritual, it had to be a full length, so Stefan got together what he could. |

I'm waiting to hear them, I hope I get an email back soon!
Though it is kind of tempting to order the new version, perhaps sometime later. |

| I sent an email a few months back, but haven't yet heard back from Stefan. What do you guys think of the songs? I'd love to hear them. Maybe I'll just order the CD anyway, since I don't much care for MP3s (I rip all of my CDs into lossless FLAC format). I was going to hold out for the second Shiva album before re-ordering the second release of Pulse though. |

Eh, I wouldn't wait til the new Shiva comes out...that may still be quite a ways away.
The two new "Pulse" tracks, You Believe and Khundas, are amazing. You Believe is a perfect addition to the Spi-Ritual library. Khundas has the Shiva feel to it, so if you're waiting for Shiva 2, Khundas is a good appetizer. |

Ha. Well it just occurred to me that Khundas is the track that Stefan put on the "Strange Flesh" compilation as well, which is a CD that I ordered from the Darkseed shop along with "Betray My Secrets" back in the fall. Khundas is a great track. I didn't like all of the music on the "Strange Flesh" compilation, but Stefan's track was awesome (as always).
If anyone hasn't heard it, it is indeed a good appetizer for some of the new sounds that we might hear on the next Shiva in Exile CD. Quite excellent, particularly with the "real" vocals. If he keeps cranking out tracks like that, it's going to be totally epic. |

Hey guys, long time no.. Post. I've had some serious computer downtime, due to the fact that my computer is, well.. Dead. Until I get it back from the manfacturer, I don't spend much time online.
Anyway, to answer the week old questions..
The two new tracks on Pulse are excellent and are a great addition to the album. However, you can tell that they are written sort of.. After the fact, so to speak, because the production, particularly on "You Believe" are differently (ex., the sound of the drums). But it's an excellent song, as is "Khundas".
If "Khundas" sounds like a Shiva song to you, well, that's because it is! Last I checked with Stefan (though it has been a while since we talked), "Khundas" would be appearing on the new Shiva In Exile album. I also had several songs from the new album, though I've lost them in the computer crash; I can tell you, however, that they sound MUCH better than "Ethnic" and this album is really looking to be great.
I can't say when it'll be released, though; don't know yet! I haven't talked to Stef in about a month, I guess, but if I can, I'll check with him and see what I can find out. |

| That'd be great if you could find some info out for us Don. I'm really looking forward to the new Shiva...whenever it comes out. It's alright though, I can wait. Stefan's music need not be rushed. |

iīd say the drums on "you belief" are samples. i guess stefan couldnīt or didnīt want to recrute a drummer for just one song. but it doensīt bother me, the song is great. _________________ stupid signatures ! |
