Wow! I was nearly brought to tears when I first heard some of these samples. It reminds me of how much I've loved Ethnic and Pulse (two of my favorite CDs)! It's so beautiful and chilling, dark and haunting, yet hopeful at the same time. It's so hard to explain. It seems so much more involving than Ethnic was, without losing what made Ethnic excellent... And I haven't even heard complete tracks.
So, when will I be able to order this? I've been waiting for several years to hear this CD (since I picked up the original on Magnatune). Pulse gave us a sample of the evolution of Stefan's sound. And while it was fantastic and some of the most unique and enjoyable metal I've ever heard, Shiva in Exile is so uniquely awesome that it fits in a category of its own. I can already tell that this CD is going to be so much more than the first one ever was. Even in the samples, you can tell just how much effort was put into these tracks. I can't wait! |

Wow. The forums are back up. Were down so long that I hadn't checked for a few months.
I picked up the album last year, and it's GREAT. Seems to have a much more upbeat mood with a more organic sound than "Ethnic". I love both of them, but you can totally tell that more time and effort went into "Nour". Very awesome.
Now, I can't wait for Stefan to make a new Spi-Ritual album. ;D |

wonīt happen. he said he made losses when he produced and sold this album. he is not into metal, at least as far as i know. would be great if he indeed would make another spi-ritual album, but i donīt see it happen. _________________ stupid signatures ! |
